 Beautiful Art Gallery at ArtsMyPassion
« Result #3 on Aug 13, 2009, 11:20am »

I have found a great little site that sells canvas art. Arts My Passion (artsmypassion dot com) sells a wide range of canvas art with categories including abstract, modern, Asian, African, and much more. Each piece is hand painted and gallery wrapped. They offer secure online ordering and free shipping to Canada and the USA.

Dan Baldwin and Charles Dada Originals FOR SALE
« Result #26 on Oct 16, 2008, 5:36pm »

Hi all,

I'm greatly needing to move closer to London, so to work closer with the Art scene there, and needing to raise a little wanga to back the move. So it is with great regret that im offering to sell a couple of my peices.
Dan Baldwins great Country Life to Poltics and Charles Dada 's, the Weeping Venice.

a little details on both

Country Life to Politics

Country Life & Politics is the transitional peice showing the move from Dan Baldwin's 'Country Life' series to the 'Politics' Series.

This magnificent and very important peice is also painted on a canvas like no other, with smooth curved edges allowing the painting to continue round all 4 sides of the painting. This is the only peice of Dans work on a canvas like this. Making it a very beautiful impressive and rare peice.

incase the images don't load, go to the State of Art Gallery link below where it is up for sale at the moment.

http://www.thestateofart.co.uk/Dan-Baldw....d-product-flyer

Details,

Size A Massive 122cm / 122cm and 7cm deep

Medium Oil based emusions, real butterflies and target on a unique canvas

Edition 1/1 Original

Signed Yes on side and again on back.

I am trying to obtain a complete set of the original signed set of Dead rebels prints (the ones that were released at Santa's Ghetto 2006), ideally with matching numbers (although not essential).

Will pay good money or have a number of other Insect prints and others to swap if preferred, so please PM me if interested!

Luke Insect 'GOLDEN KISS' Screen prints
Signed and numbered by the artist.
Limited Edition of 150 and 50
Size 70cm x 50cm.

24 karat Gold (green print only)

Luke started the design collective 'INSECT' with his partner Paul 10 years ago, scaring the design and illustration community with their dark, surreal style and nightmarish imagery.

This year sees the launch of his own studio specializing in art direction and illustration for the music, fashion and youth industries, with a style that incorporates Pop Art, 1960's and 1970's counter-culture and all things dark and twisted. The artist also co-runs a record label called 'Battered Ornament's'.

Luke has been branching out into clothing recently with collaborations with
'Levi's' and 'Diesel', and after completing visuals for 'The Prodigy', Luke sent the band a 'Golden Kiss' artist proof print.

Project One: Icons Exhibition arrives in the North
« Result #35 on Sept 10, 2008, 12:01pm »

Project One: ICONS

The emergence of a 21st Century Renaissance in POP and Urban Art Culture

Paintings, sculpture, and prints by Peter Blake, Gerald Laing, and David Mach,
alongside a new generation of International 21st century artists

108 Fine Art, 108 West End Avenue, Harrogate HG2 9BT

20th September – 11th October 2008

Highlights to be shown at the British Art Fair, Royal College of Art, London, 10-14th September 2008

A highly innovative and ambitious International exhibition of artists working at the forefront of POP and Urban art will shortly be on display in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. From modest beginnings the initial idea of creating an exhibition reflecting current interest in contemporary Urban art has evolved into a much larger, inspired project involving work from the original innovators of POP art such as Gerald Laing, Dudley Edwards and Peter Blake, through to David Mach and Julian Opie. The exhibition has been organized by 108 Fine Art, in collaboration with the artists and guest curators Richard McTague and Jon Kendall of RedHouse Originals.

International artists will feature prominently with Charles Lutz from Brooklyn (first UK exhibition), Blek Le Rat and Space Invader from France and Mimmo Rotella from Italy.
A visit to the artist Blek Le Rat’s studio on the outskirts of Paris has resulted in two of the artist most important early works being sent to the UK for the ICONS exhibition. The exhibition will also be the first opportunity in the U.K. to view original works directly from the studio of Brooklyn based artist Charles Lutz whose ‘Warhol Denied’ images and recent paintings and sculpture are attracting a surge of interest both here and in the U.S.

Two of the U.K.’s most dynamic and expressive figurative sculptors, Tim Shaw and Michael Sandle have agreed to participate in this seminal exhibition, their use of iconic internationally known images and symbols resonating with the essence of their time: Michael Sandle’s use of Mickey Mouse in his incredible A 20th Century Memorial (now in the Tate Collection) and Tim Shaw’s black bin bag and wax sculptures Man On Fire and Prisoner at Abu Ghraib produced in a response to the horrific images of torture and state terrorism, captured by the media and broadcast across the world.

The crossover between those working with music and art has also become a major aspect of the exhibition, with early original Sex Pistols artwork from Jamie Reid, original paintings by Goldie, and the inspired artwork of James Cauty formerly of the KLF. Live music will also feature, with The Prelude, one of the most exciting and energetic bands to have emerged from Northern Ireland in the past decade agreeing to participate in the celebrations. The Prelude will perform live in the gas-lit setting of Hales Bar, Harrogate 10pm – 1am, Friday 19th September. Guest DJ’s will also play on the evening.

A hand finished limited edition print by Neverwork will also be released to mark the launch of the ICONS exhibition.

A forty page fully illustrated limited edition catalogue has been produced for the event.
Project One: ICONS will be the one of the most innovative exhibitions to have been held at 108 Fine Art. Project Two will be announced in January 2009.

To attend the private view, and for catalogue and price list please contact RedHouse:

Phillips de Pury urban art auction
« Result #36 on Aug 15, 2008, 9:41pm »

I found this press release online that mentioned Insect will be up for auction at Phillips in London this September.

Here is an excerpt:
"The Saturday@Phillips sales will present two highly curated selections of the best of urban street art
available to the market. A selection of original works in a variety of mediums by top urban street artists will
include: Bansky, Bast, Beejoir, Blek le Rat, DFace, Faile, Shepard Fairey, Insect, Invader, KAWS, Dave
Kinsey, Adam Neate, Nick Walker, Barry Mcgee, Micallef, Skullphone, and Swoon."

I wonder what they have from Insect. Anybody know about a catalogue?

 Insect/DJ Shadow Vinyl for sale
« Result #42 on Mar 31, 2008, 5:41pm »

I have decided to sell my DJ Shadow This Time remix 12" hand finished by Insect. It's a beaut but is making way for more prints. They only did 100 of these and as far as i know, each one is unique. 4x Shadow stamps on the reverse and stenciled/sprayed by Insect on the front.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DJ-Shadow-Paul-Ins....1QQcmdZViewItem

Please let me know if you've seen any elsewhere because i've only seen one other and it was on ebay.com for just over $200.

Ok everyone, I’m doing it! ;D

At long last - my print collection sale has finally kick started.

I decided to sell the Banksy ‘Monkey Queen’ privately which has now gone to a good home! But everything else will be going onto Ebay.

Here are the starting auctions, more will follow of other prints I have. Those of you who had previously wanted to see photos, I’ve added loads up on each auction using Photobucket! I’m becoming quite the Ebay seller! I’ve decided to sell now because I’ve got no cash right now and want to buy a watercolour by a friend of mine.

Tracey Emin ‘Kate Moss’ etching:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V....ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=002

Tracey Emin ‘ICA’ photo:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V....ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=002

Space Invader signed ‘Rubik Kubrick’
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V....ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=002

Jamie Hewlett signed framed ‘Noodle’
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V....ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=002

Ben Eine ‘We Hate Eine’ signed:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V....ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=002

Ben Eine ‘Red Smiley’ signed:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V....ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=002

That’s all for now, but I’ve got loads more prints by Faile, Space Invader, Insect to go up in next few weeks.

Good luck with the bids. :)

« Result #62 on Jul 31, 2007, 6:43pm »

Hi everyone,

Cheers for all the messages about my print collection so have decided to do the following list. Get back to me with offers if you're interested. Ideally I'd like to make one sale to one person who'd like the whole lot, but I know that might not happen! :) THANKS!!!

Rob's prints to sell

EINE (I think I have the original tubes from POW)
Eine 'Red Smiler' smiley circle face (I thought this was Orange, but having looked at the Ben Eine Forum I think the one I have is actually Red) This one is numbered 17/50 and signed. Comes framed in silver habitat frame.

Eine letters black and pink WE HATE EINE numbered 13/50 and signed. Comes framed in silver habitat frame.

BANKSY (not sure if I have the tube for this one)
Banksy Monkey Queen unsigned but numbered and framed in hand made black wooden frame numbered in pencil in bottom right hand corner 308/750.

Space Invader Albino Invader signed and numbered 66/100.

Space Invader Home Works numbered 67/100 and signed.

Space Invader Rubrik Kubrick numbered 134/150 and signed.

Space Invader - Large print bought direct off his website, think it's called rubik cube, bright colours numbered 44/75 and signed too.

FAILE
Girl with pink bunny in her hands and the logo FAILE in black at bottom, unsigned but numbered 133/750. Comes framed in silver habitat frame.

Captivating - print of a girl with butterfly and blue background logo, unsigned but numbered 237/750. Comes framed in silver habitat frame.

DFACE
Dface AHOLE Andy Warhol pink image signed and numbered 176/250 (with original POW tube)

Dface HATE purple signed and numbered 10/25 (with original POW tube)

Jamie Hewlett
Gorillaz 'Noodle' blue cartoon character with guitar (with purple outlines) framed in hand-made white wooden frame with mount, looks really nice! It's signed and numbered 16 out of 150. (I have the original POW tube as well if desired!)

« Result #66 on Jun 12, 2007, 12:30pm »

I got this print a while back and don't think i'll ever be happy with it on my wall so i'm putting it up for offers and will sell if i get offered the right price for it or a sensible trade.

I'm open to any offers so please pm with any thoughts/questions.

Cheers.

Same here :-/
I also thought it was 1print from series and not only 1 print from all the new ones.
Shame but that's how it goes with POW these days.

Big fan for a long time... but what is the POW stance as I managed to get sex toy 1 and 2 (and must be one of the few that like the seris!)but was refunded my money back a couple of days later by POW, a few people have mentioned the "one print per household" but it was one of each?? anyone??

Hello! It was madness yesterday... Very random release of prints. I wish Mr B prints went on sale like that. Too much £££ for me, but nice all the same.

I can see it might look expensive at first glance :o but when you think its only editions of 10 for the skulls ;D when was the last time you saw any edition as small as 10? :o

Personally I think that the days of cheap prints are over/for more established artists like Banksy, Micallef, Faile etc.../ And edition of 10? Detto!
